Do we need to pay GST if we are selling vegetables online (e-commerce) and how much GST do we have to pay as vegetables are not included in GST?
If you sell exempt items then no need of GST Number, thus You don’t need to pay GST.
But e-commerce portal may have it’s own policy of not allowing the sales of vegetables. For example Amazon won’t allow you to sell vegetables in it’s main website.
Now the above exemption is only available in case of exempt items. Few things although seemed to be vegetable, might not be exempt. For example dry flower like herb, dry plant and roots, bark, Frozen vegetables and fruits whether uncooked or cooked by boiling in water or added sugar or sweeting matter etc. So you need to check it the items you are selling are really exempt or not.
